Counting Books
Funny, I count books in bus rides to work now. It took me 5 rides to finish Diary and 8 for All Tomorrow's Parties. Both were really fun reads.
10 rides for The WebDAV book. Quick read for a 550-page tech book.

Is that a recommendation of the WebDAV book?
I've been thinking about picking it up as background for the CalDAV conversations, but to date have been discouraged from picking it up by the cover/intro.

Yes, I'll give it a solid recommendation.
Besides standing on it's own merit, it's the only WebDAV book out there, plus it's authored by the chair of the WebDAV WG and tech reviewed by the author of mod_dav.
I used this book to write my own toy Class 1 WebDAV server.

My reading has gone way down since I've moved to our nations heartland and now drive all over the fucking place. Man, I miss public transit, but now I'm just a glorified limo service... drop off boy @ school... take wife to work... pick up wife from work... pick up boy from football practice... go to grocery store... Please please please let us run out of mid east crude so I can get some reading done.

Dr. No: About an hour.
