Writing the Playbook
I'd like to remind people that 2½ years ago, I had already put Jabber and Google together.
(Good god, why did I write in Java as if it were C back then? What's up with all the static members? Can you spot the subtle bug? I should really release a new version.)

Theres nothing like looking at your old code for creating a sense of humility. Everyone was a newbie, once! I keep some choice examples on my HD, so that anyone who does hack their way in has a fair chance of inflicting an injury on themselves laughing at my 1989 C coding style.
