Apple stock broke the $50 mark today for the first time in about four years. Yeah! iPod mania! I'd be more excited if I hadn't already sold the handful of shares I once owned -- for about half that price.

The real funny thing is I got 20 shares from my wife as a wedding present. Six years ago! So of course it went over 100 and split...I've hung on for the wild ride for no other reason that I can't sell a wedding present from my wife!

According to Bruce Tognazinni, Apple's shares have increased 17x since it went public so keep holdin' on!
