More Python stuff: Bob Ippolito is starting to work on py2app, intended to be a Macintosh equivalent of py2exe (which makes standalone Windows executables from Python programs). Cool project. Somebody help him!

  • Note that Python 2.3 includes bundlebuilder, which allows you do to more or less what py2app is going to do. I'm developing py2app to give something bundlebuilder-like a more familiar interface. I'll probably even be using a large chunk of bundlebuilder2's source in the early versions.
