More Python stuff: Bob Ippolito is starting to work on py2app, intended to be a Macintosh equivalent of py2exe (which makes standalone Windows executables from Python programs). Cool project. Somebody help him!
Note that Python 2.3 includes bundlebuilder, which allows you do to more or less what py2app is going to do. I'm developing py2app to give something bundlebuilder-like a more familiar interface. I'll probably even be using a large chunk of bundlebuilder2's source in the early versions.
Migrators to Apple's new operating systems talk about their experiences. Some of them come from Classic MacOS, some from Windows, and some from other Unixen.
